Her Joy, Our Joy

Whether intentionally or not, we tend to idealize Mary for the role she played in the Christmas story. Rightfully so, she faced a potentially bleak situation with joy in her heart. On December 23rd, 2018 we looked at how she was able to remain joyful during troubling times and how we can do the same no matter our circumstances. Please join us in reading Luke chapter 1, verses 39-55 in preparation for this message: Her Joy, Our Joy. Click on the image to listen.

As Christmas approaches, the list of things to do to get ready can seem to be overwhelming. So many things seem to be necessary for us to do from lights to decorating to shopping to baking. But the Bible suggests that there is something much more important that needs to happen in order for us to be ready for the Messiah. Please join us in reading Luke 3:7-18 in preparation for the message on December 16th, Ready Hearts. Click on the image to listen.

Being righteous has received a bad rap in recent years. Perhaps because those who claimed to be “righteous” were actually being “self-righteous.” Where a person finds their righteousness makes all the difference. On December 9th, 2018 we looked at the significance of living a life made righteous through Jesus Christ for the glory and praise of God. Please join us in reading Luke chapter 3, verses 1-6 in preparation for this message: for the Glory and Praise of God. Click on the image to listen.

Humankind is being redeemed. Our redemption began with the birth of God’s one and only Son and will be completed upon Jesus’ return. What we often neglect is the impact our redemption should have on our lives as followers of Christ. On December 2nd, 2018 we will begin to live in the light of our redemption that those around us may come to know Jesus as well. Please join us in reading Luke chapter 21, verses 25-36 in preparation for this message: Look at the Fig Tree. Click on the image to listen.
