Often, when we hear God’s desire for us, it simply doesn’t sink in. Unfortunately, who we are, as fallen humanity, regularly gets in the way. My hope is that we won’t just give a courteous nod to what we have learned on this spiritual journey to experience God as our provider. On November 8, 2020 we were challenged to apply what we have learned throughout the past several months on a heart level. Please join us in reading Hebrews 6 in preparation for this message: What the Future Holds. Click on the image to listen. Click on the Facebook logo to watch.

Many people live their lives as if they can buy happiness, but contentment doesn’t come from getting whatever they want. True contentment comes through the knowledge that God is their provider and being thankful for what He has already given. On November 1, 2020 we were challenged to recognize our histories, gifts, passions, and opportunities as God’s provision, and chose to use them to positively influence those around us for God and His kingdom. Please join us in reading 1 Timothy 6 in preparation for this message: The Influence of Contentment. Click on the image to listen. Click on the Facebook logo to watch.

Where does generosity begin? Often, we think it’s about our finances and our stuff, but before we can ever be generous with these there is something else we have to give to God. On October 25, 2020 we were challenged to give our sins to God through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross for our forgiveness. Then, we can freely give with both our minds and hearts. Please join us in reading Ephesians 2 and Romans 5, 6 in preparation for this message: Giving from the Head and Heart. Click on the image to listen. Click on the Facebook logo to watch.

“When I get rich, I’m going to…” In our world today, many people are consumed with the idea of physical wealth, but God’s word tells us there is something greater. On October 18, 2020 we were challenged to look past the wealth this present world offers and recognize the true wealth of God. Please join us in reading Luke chapter 16 in preparation for this message: Recognizing the Eternal. Click on the image to listen. Click on the Facebook logo to watch.

One of the major reasons those in the world struggle with the idea of Christianity is that many “Christians” don’t live like Christ. On October 11, 2020 we were challenged to implement several principles from God’s word that will help us reveal Jesus in our finances. Please join us in reading Proverbs 24, 27; James 1 in preparation for this message: Let’s Be Positive. Click on the image to listen. Click on the Facebook logo to watch.

Though most Christians would admit that they want to experience God as their provider, why do they have such a difficult time living that way. As an old cartoon once read, “We have met the enemy and he is us.” On October 4, 2020 we were challenged to implement several principles to protect ourselves from ourselves. Please join us in reading Psalm 119:36-37 in preparation for this message: Finding Freedom in Life. Click on the image to listen. Click on the Facebook logo to watch.

Experiencing God as our provider isn’t an exercise in positive thinking or wish fulfillment. Neither is it some fluffy spiritualized concept. Coming to know the God who provides is about honoring Him in tangible ways in our lives. On September 6, 2020 we were challenged to put God first in our finances and in our lives. Please join us in reading Colossians 1, 2 Chronicles 31, and Deuteronomy 14 in preparation for this message: Putting God First. Click on the image to listen. Click on the Facebook logo to watch.

Martin Luther once commented, “There are three conversions: the heart, the mind, and the purse.” If this is true, how many of us can truly say we belong entirely to God? Many have yet to surrender their finances to Jesus. On August 23, 2020 we were challenged to offer not simply a tithe, but all that we are at the foot of the cross. Please join us in reading Malachi chapter 3 in preparation for this message: All That I Am. Click on the image to listen. Click on the Facebook logo to watch.

It’s pretty common to listen to wise counsel, yet never put what we’ve heard into practice in our lives. Many are those who know what to do to succeed in life, but just keep living life as usual. On August 16, 2020 we were challenged to take what we’ve learned about God’s provision and put it into practice. Financial success isn’t about how much we have, but how much of us God has. Please join us in reading 2 Kings chapter 19 in preparation for this message: What’s Next? Click on the image to listen. Click on the Facebook logo to watch.

August 9, 2020

We often look at what others have and wonder why God hasn’t blessed us in that way. Yet, we rarely look at our own lives recognizing how He has provided for us through our existing resources. On August 9, 2020 we came to see our resources as God intended: a blessing from His hand to be used for His glory and purpose. Please join us in reading 2 Kings chapter 4 in preparation for this message: What Do I Have? Click on the image to listen. Click on the Facebook logo to watch.

God provides for the needs of his followers in many ways. Sometimes in obvious ways, like through our ability to earn an income. Other times in more subtle ways. On August 2, 2020 we came to recognize several of the subtle ways God provides for our needs and were challenged to not only receive God’s provision, but to be His provision to those around us. Please join us in reading Mark chapters 6 & 8 in preparation for this message: Expecting the Unexpected. Click on the image to listen. Click on the Facebook logo to watch.

July 26, 2020

We often think of work as a burden, or even a curse, we have to bear until we can finally retire. Yet, work wasn’t part of the curse when humankind fell, rather the curse was the meaningless toil associated with our work. Work was part of God’s blessing for which we were created. On July 26, 2020 we will be challenged to work for and with the Lord knowing God is the provider of our every opportunity. Please join us in reading Genesis chapters 2 & 3 in preparation for this message: Working Hard. Click on the image to listen. Click on the Facebook logo to watch.

July 19, 2020

The American dream has gradually become the American deception. We have been duped into believing that someone other than God provides for us. On July 19, 2020 we were challenged to consider our lives and how things are going for us, as we come to recognize God as our true provider. Please join us in reading Haggai chapter 1 in preparation for this message: Experiencing God Our Provider. Click on the image to listen. Click on the Facebook logo to watch.
