Glory of Something New

When Moses returned from the mountain with the law of God his face shown with God’s glory. Yet, over time that glory began to fade. Unlike the fading glory of Moses’ face, Paul tells us we have an ever-increasing glory as we strive to live like Christ. On November 24, 2019 we learned how serving one another in gifted ministry reveals God’s glory. Please join us in reading 2 Corinthians 3 & 4, in preparation for this message: Glory of Something New. Click on the image to listen.

Often, we wonder what we will gain by being part of a church. How can those in the church use their gifts to serve us. We question, “What’s in it for me?” We may be approaching the idea of church and spiritual gifts from a wrong perspective. On November 17, 2019 we learned how to utilize our spiritual gifts to build up others to maturity in Christ. Please join us in reading Ephesians 4, in preparation for this message: That the Body of Christ May be Built Up. Click on the image to listen.

As baptized believers, we have all been given a gift or blending of gifts by the Spirit of God. This past spring PGCC helped us all to identify what our spiritual gifting may be by encouraging us to take our Spiritual Gift Assessment. On November 10, 2019 we looked at several of the spiritual gifts again and were challenged to seek a ministry where we can utilize our spiritual gifts. Please join us in reading Romans 12, in preparation for this message: Gifted to Serve. Click on the image to listen.
