When things go wrong it’s hard to be thankful to God. Yet, we’re called to give thanks, but there’s more to it than just that. It’s God’s will that we rejoice that He is still in control, pray that He will reveal Himself in what’s happening, and thank Him for what He is doing. On November 22, 2020 we will be challenged to rejoice, pray, and give thanks to God in every situation, recognizing that this is God’s will for us in Christ. Please join us in reading 1 Thessalonians 5:12-28 in preparation for this message: In Every Circumstance. Click on the image to listen. Click on the Facebook logo to watch.

It’s easy to give thanks to God when things are going right in our lives, but what about when everything seems to be going wrong? In the Psalms, we often celebrate with the psalmist the awesome presence of God. Then, there are several psalms where nothing seems to be going right. Yet, the psalmist still gives thanks. On November 15, 2020 we will be challenged to give thanks to God even when things are going wrong in our lives. Please join us in reading Psalm 143 in preparation for this message: When Things Go Wrong. Click on the image to listen. Click on the Facebook logo to watch.
